FAQs

Got questions? We’ve got answers!
Here’s everything you need to know about classes, workshops, and practicing at The Yoga Yurt.

Do I need to be an experienced yogi to attend classes?

Not at all! Our classes are designed for all levels, from beginners to seasoned practitioners.
Every body is welcome at The Yoga Yurt.

What should I bring to class?

Just yourself and a willingness to flow! We recommend comfortable clothing, a warm layer and socks for relaxation, and a water bottle to stay hydrated. Mats, props, and blankets are also provided for your comfort, but feel free to bring your own if you prefer.

Do I need to book in advance?

Yes, all our classes and workshops require advance booking to secure your spot.
This helps us ensure a calm, spacious environment for everyone and allows you to plan your practice with ease.

What types of classes do you offer?

From gentle flows and restorative sessions to dynamic vinyasa and speciality workshops, there’s something for every mood and intention.

Can I bring a friend who has never done yoga before?

Absolutely! We love welcoming newcomers — it’s a wonderful way to share the joy of practice.

Do you offer memberships or class packages?

Yes! We offer flexible membership plans and class packages to fit your lifestyle.
Check our Pricing & Membership page for details.

What is your cancellation policy?

We understand that life happens! Please cancel at least 6 hours before your class or workshop to allow someone else to join. Late cancellations or no-shows may result in the class being marked as used.
Check our full policies for details on memberships and workshops.

Where can I park?

You’re welcome to use the main car park at Holmsted Farm, located just off the main entrance drive.
As you arrive, follow signs for Visitor Parking or Main Car Park.
From the car park, it’s a short walk to The Yoga Yurt – signs will guide you along the way.

If visiting in the evening or early morning, we recommend bringing a torch as lighting around the grounds is limited.
