Meet Our Teachers

  • Meet Isis du Jour

    Isis du Jour

Isis is the founder of The Yoga Yurt, a yoga teacher, teacher trainer, and sound practitioner with a deep love of nature, music, and community. Her teaching is rooted in creating space for people to slow down, reconnect, and experience the magic of yoga both on and off the mat.

Trained in Vinyasa, Yin/Restorative, SUP, and Prenatal Yoga, Isis also integrates her passion for sound — guiding nourishing sound baths, Yoga Nidra sessions, and offering Vibro-Accoustic Treatments as a trained sound healer.

Warm, inclusive, and ever-curious, Isis believes yoga is a lifelong journey of growth and discovery. She feels privileged to share this journey with others and to welcome people into The Yoga Yurt, a place where movement, nature, music, and mindful connection come together.

  • Meet Rachel Turner

    Rachel Turner

Rachel is a local yoga teacher and sound healer who loves guiding people on their journey to balance and wellbeing. Her favorite part of a class is the moment of stillness at the end, when the energy in the room feels unified and everyone has moved through a shared experience.

Having personally experienced the transformational benefits of yoga for physical, mental, and spiritual healing, Rachel is passionate about sharing these practices with others. With a background in biological sciences and veterinary medicine, her deep love of nature, animals, and the outdoors is woven into her daily life.

At The Yoga Yurt, Rachel has found the perfect space to combine her passions for nature, healing, and meaningful connection, creating a welcoming environment for all who attend her classes.

  • Meet Zöe Osmond

Zoë values the natural connection between yoga and meditation, guiding students to move mindfully with awareness of breath, body, and mind. Her classes gently prepare the body and mind for meditation, supporting a deeper sense of stillness and presence.
